Can you live without it?

I don’t think I can but I can get used to it. I mean, it will be hard considering that when I wake up in the morning, it’s usually the first thing I check. Twitter updates, Facebook updates, News, RSS subscriptions, not to mention Tumblr. Oh my God, there’s too many to check. It usually takes about 10-20 minutes to catch up and then get up and take a shower. That is my daily routine my friends. I swear to God, I will end up with a broken nose as it seems like I always drop my phone on my face because of grogginess. I guess that’s the beauty of having an internet phone now, right?

Can you imagine having without internet though? No skype to keep with your friends overseas. You’ll have to call them everytime which can really get expensive. It is hassle having without one. Don’t get me wrong, I guess as long as you don’t have any interest in people overseas then I guess you’re good with it. I wasn’t connected to the internet four years ago, when I was back home. I had my friends within reach, I go out, enjoy the nice sunny weather back home. I was good, so can you, especially in the winter time? 😀

Burning the Midnight Oil

Posted: February 5, 2011 in Photos

I can’t sleep and it’s 2:58 AM Saturday, February 5, 2011. I’m supposed to be tired, I went bowling earlier this evening for two hours. My thumb is a sore, my right hand is a sore, I’m a sore. But I can’t SLEEP!! I drank coffee after bowling though, that could be the reason why I’m still wide awake. Well, anyways, I’m working on something anyways, so it’s all worth it. Just wanted to post this. Have a great weekend everyone!! I’ll try to post this weekend but most likely I won’t, I’ll be MIA.

Here I am in work poser mode!! O.o

Childhood Superheroes

Posted: February 3, 2011 in Uncategorized

So, it’s the day after the apparent Snowmageddon as called on by the media people but nothing happened. Toronto went in a stand still, yadda yadda yadda. But that’s not what this post is all about. I wanted to talk about my childhood superheroes. I was born in the 80’s and when I turned 3 in 1984, it was the debut of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars, Spiderman’s black costume appears and the ever most famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Aren’t they the most awesomest turtles ever? Cowabunga dude!! I remember being so fascinated by these turtles that I was glued on the couch watching the series. Yes, they were great when I was a kid, heck, I even had a TMNT toothpaste! I didn’t use Colgate or all that fancy stuff, I used a TMNT toothpaste.

And then their popularity was over all the kids were like, meh, turtles, who thought about that anyways? How can a turtle be fast, be good in Karate and stuff. And Master Splinter, what? A rat as a teacher? You have got to be kidding me!! So they went down, at least that’s how I thought it went. There could be a couple of reasons to, so.

Now that we’re on the new age, I’m thinking, it’s always been Superman. I mean, who can beat him, right? If I were to be a superhero, I’d like to be Clark Kent, nobody else.

Now I ask you, who’s your favourite childhood superhero?

Groundhog Day

Posted: February 2, 2011 in Uncategorized

Is a holiday celebrated on February 2 in the United States and Canada. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.

I was watching TV this morning with regards to this and it’s amazing how they believe in this stuff. Don’t get me wrong, it’s just that I don’t get the idea. Our weather forecaster are 90% wrong all the time, how can a groundhog be more accurate? So apparently, the groundhog didn’t see its shadow today, which means… You’re smart enough, you can figure it out.

In any case, Happy Groundhog Day everyone. I hope winter will soon be over.
